The top is supported by hand-scalloped Adirondack bracing in a forward shifted X pattern, giving the guitar a quick response and a wide open voice. Adirondack spruce brings crisp articulation and plenty of headroom, allowing the guitar to stay clear even under a heavy right hand. The full sized dreadnought body adds depth and punch in the low end, while the maple binding, herringbone details, and classic rosette keep the visual style firmly rooted in traditional acoustic design.
A one piece South American mahogany neck with a comfortable 25.5 inch scale length provides a familiar feel for flatpickers and strummers alike. The ebony fingerboard and bridge keep the response fast and articulate, while Gotoh open gear tuners and a bone nut and saddle round out the classic hardware package.
