With its massive soundboard of Sitka spruce over East Indian rosewood back and sides, the guitar delivers projection and clarity that can handle any style, from lush twelve-string strumming to articulate six-string picking. Martin designed this model with a unique double neck bracing pattern, carefully voiced to keep balance and sustain across both necks. The six-string side features a modified low oval profile with a high-performance taper, while the twelve-string brings the same comfortable taper to its slightly wider layout. Both ebony fingerboards are accented with Style 28 mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and nickel open-gear butterbean tuners ensure classic function and look. Appointments remain unmistakably Martin: antique white binding, multi-stripe rosette and purfling, a dark mahogany satin-finished neck, and gloss finishes on the top, back, and sides. Equipped with the Fishman Double Neck electronics system, it’s ready to deliver the full spectrum of tones on stage.
