The Story

This used 2003 Taylor 414ce is an excellent example of Taylor’s early-2000s craftsmanship, pairing a Sitka spruce top with ovangkol back and sides for a clear, open voice with a touch of added warmth and depth. The Grand Auditorium body makes it a wonderfully versatile instrument, equally at home with light fingerstyle or full strumming, and the Venetian cutaway keeps upper-fret access smooth and comfortable.

The mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard offer that familiar Taylor playability—fast, clean, and inviting—while the forward-shifted bracing keeps the response lively and balanced across the register. The original Expression System electronics make it ready for stage use with a natural, articulate plugged-in tone.

This guitar has been exceptionally well cared for and remains in excellent condition, complete with its original Taylor hard shell case. A reliable, great-sounding GA for players who want a responsive, professional-level acoustic.
