A true piece of history, this used Lyon & Healy Style C Mandolin from the late 1910s captures the elegance and craftsmanship of the golden era of mandolin production. Featuring a spruce top paired with maple back and sides, this vintage beauty delivers a warm, articulate tone with excellent projection. The V-shaped 3-piece mahogany and ebony neck offers a comfortable feel, while the ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays adds a classic touch. Bound in ivoroid and finished in natural lacquer, this mandolin has been well-preserved, with replacement tuners ensuring smooth tuning stability. With a scale length of 13 3/4" and a bone nut and ebony bridge, it plays effortlessly, retaining its century-old charm. Housed in a Lifton case, this instrument is in great condition, making it an exceptional find for collectors and players alike.

*Condition of the instrument is overall Great. There was a refinish of the headstock most likely due to replacing the tuner. There could have also been a possoble headstock break at one point, but that has been fixed and keeps the instrument playable.*
